The 1st Annual jim johnson award of excellence was presented at the 2005 world of wheels in new orleans, la. on jan 23. The award pictured below was given to the best 1st time shown (at new orleans world of wheels). the 66 chevy nova owned and built by roy pickford was the class of the field.  the jim johnson award consist of the plaque show above and a cash prize. this years cash prize was $2000.00. next year promises to be better yet, with sponsors already signing up for the 2006 world of wheels. we hope you consider entering your rod or custom in the new orleans show and shoot for the jim johnson award.
